| 11' x 13.5' Mural in the lobby of the Merced Irrigation District offices in Merced, California. This mural depicts the source of the District's water, the Merced River in Yosemite National Park; an historic representation, taken from an original photo of employees in the old dam; a look at the new dam; recreational, irrigation, and electrical benefits of the water, and a depiction of an employee painted American flag inside the new dam. Each framed area is approximately 3' x 4 or 5'. this project was a year in the planning and one month in production. |
